HOW CAN I SUPPORT?

Thank you so much for your interest. What a blessing!

There are two ways you can support us: through prayer and financially.

I'm so excited to share with you all that God is already doing and will continue to do in this mission and calling. During my year as a missionary in Leeds, England, I learned and grew more than in many previous years and saw how the Lord gave meaning to the lives of many international students. In the same way, I want to keep you informed so you can join me in prayer.

To receive monthly updates and prayer requests, please enter your email address here. In addition to receiving the information by email, you can always find it here on the website in the "Monthly News" section. However, there may be additional details that are only sent via email.

Support in Prayer
Support Economically

When can you start providing financial support? Right now! Although the trip is in March, there are many initial expenses such as airfare, visa fees, insurance, initial deposits, and other costs that require a significant amount of money. Any extra funds will be saved for the future. More details later: Fund Management and Accountability.

All funds for this mission trip must be raised by me personally; there is no salary or similar payment. That is why I am asking for your financial support, which I greatly appreciate. Thank you to the churches and individuals who have expressed their interest in supporting me in this mission.

Based on the recommendation of Reaching Japan, who are familiar with the economic realities of living in Nagoya, Japan, I have decided to raise $2,700 per month. This amount may change in the future.

IMPORTANT! Monthly contributions are much preferred because having a stable income makes the mission much easier and allows me to think long-term. I would greatly appreciate it if you could make monthly contributions! However, one-time donations are also welcome.

I want to be completely transparent about the management of funds with Reaching Japan, Ievi (my church in Ecuador), and all my donors. Therefore, I commit to providing accountability through this website and via email. For now, there are many expenses and needs yet to be defined, so I will be posting precise data in the coming months.

Why $2700 per month: This table does not include setup costs. A conversion rate of 130 Yen = $1 was used, as recommended by Reaching Japan, as a precaution due to recent significant fluctuations in the value of the Yen. Table is to the right, below on mobile.

Extra Funds: Any extra funds will be reported, and their use will be communicated. Their use will be discussed with Reaching Japan. These funds may be used as savings for my future salary, invested in the ministry, or simply result in me requesting less funding from my donors.

Salary: From the donations, I will receive a fair salary, the amount of which will be determined with Reaching Japan in the coming months. It is possible that I will seek a part-time job for a few hours a week; in this case, my missionary salary will be reduced proportionally according to the number of hours worked at my part-time job in Japan. The possibility of receiving assistance from the church, such as being provided with housing, has also been discussed. In that case, I would not need to pay rent, and this would also reduce my salary proportionally. Finally, the cost of the Japanese language academy will not be deducted from my salary.

Income and Expenses: Monthly income and expenses will begin to be published in the coming months.

Fund management and accountability.
